I DID IT!!! This is the one I've been waiting for!!!I saved the last battle for when I was done packing tonight.
I beat a video game on the hardest setting!! I played through ALL of Call of Duty 2 on Veteran, and didn't even break any controllers. (Those of you how know me may recall some of my frustrations with Prince of Persia III: The Two Thrones...)
w00t!!

I learned and mastered a new knot today. Tired of losing $8 lures to knots that just didn't do the job, I searched and found the UNI. Awesome. I'll have to see how it holds up on this next trip.May 28th
Tried some new food today. Chicken Sagwala. It's an Indian dish with curried spinach and chicken. Quite delicious.May 28, 2008

Okay... I was really busy today and didn't have much in the way of new stuff readily at hand. What I did have, however, was an incredible thirst. As I was quite busy and didn't want to be intoxicated, I turned to the only other option short of making another pot of coffee at 7pm. I drank an O'Douls. I've never had a non-alcoholic beer before. They're quite disgusting.May 26th
Recently, I was talked into consuming a concoction of Beer and V8 known as a, "Bloody Beer."I know. It sounds disgusting. In reality though, it is quite delicious. And refreshing.

Today on my way back from Wisconsin, I made a split second decision to get off in Hudson and drive up 35-64 to Stillwater. I've never driven that way before, and especially not for no reason in particular. It's a really pretty drive.I also found a Scuba place on the main drag in Hudson so I guess that will go on the list. Even though after seeing Open Water, I'm now scared of sharks. (Yes, even in a fresh water river.)

My big new thing for today was going to the Town Talk Diner and ordering their 40oz High Life. The server brings it to you in a bucket of ice with a white towel on his arm, and you get little champagne glasses with which to drink it. Then they do the whole test pour so you can determine the quality before they pour your whole glass.Classy.

I started a new project today. It's one of those projects where you have to do 90% of the work before you know whether or not it's going to work, but I'm having a good time. I have a backup plan (kinda) in any case.More to come...
